Notes
❉
Source: Official, static, university data as reported to CPE and
IPEDS was used for all charts minus the degrees chart. The degrees chart used the Banner
degree table (SHRDGMR).
❉
Include Second Program will increase enrollments to
include students who have a second/double major. If a student has more than two
majors, any program beyond the first and second will not be included.
❉
The "Student" filter does not have any effect
on the
"Degrees Awarded" chart. All other filters will affect every chart.
❉
Without filtering, retention and graduation
rates
displayed are not based on the official cohort. To view cohort retention and
graduation
rates (the rates used for official reporting) filter for Official GRS under the
Student tab.
❉ Retention and graduation rates are not based on the official cohort so this
will
not match anything reported to external entities. You can
look at New Freshman retention and graduation rates but this will include
Full-time/Part-time and all degree seeking.
❉ The First Generation and Low Income fields are calculated based on FAFSA
data.
Typically, the longer a student is enrolled the more likely he/she is to have
completed
FAFSA information. Therefore, a decline in first generation or low income enrollment
for
recent years is often a result of the lack of FAFSA data rather than a true decrease
in
these student populations.
❉ The Low Income field is not from data submitted to CPE due to the delay from it only being reported yearly.
This field is based on those receiving Pell grants during the aid year or prior.
❉ Graduation Rates are based on earning a degree at the level (Associate,
Bachelors,
Masters, etc.) a student is pursuing within the allotted time selected from the
dropdown.
The default is 6 years for all students.
❉ 2023-06-22: Moved "Include Program 2" selection to a drop down to allow programs 2 to be viewed independently.
